Nadia Ali will be more club-ready than ever on August 31, when the Libya-born electro chanteuse releases an album of her remixed pop tracks.
Queen of Clubs: Ruby Edition is the first release in a trilogy of Queen of Clubs remix albums. The second part, Onyx Edition, will be released in October.
For the Ruby Edition, Nadia enlisted noted electro DJs from all over the world–including Kuwaiti DJ Sultan, Switzerland’s Green & Falkner, USA’s Dean Coleman, Germany’s Wippenberg and more! The club wizzes added heavy bass lines and trance grooves to her biggest hits, including “Fantasy,” “Love Story” and “Better Run.”
The party album comes as a swift change after Nadia released a slow ballad version of her electro hit “Fantasy” (see below).
But then again, Nadia’s no stranger to change. Born in Libya to Pakistani parents and raised in New York City, Nadia launched her career as the frontwoman of the group iiO. Their megahit “Rapture” put her on the map, but Nadia decided to go solo several years ago and has released two albums since!
Check out her new version of “Fantasy,” a stark contrast from the Queen of Clubs trilogy!
